Board Luv-Carpie Diem-"NEWS"
Board Luv was extremely excited about volunteering at the second annual They Will Surf Again event held by Life Rolls On Foundation. The event was held in the same spot as last year in Long Branch, NJ at Pier Village on the beach June 28th from 9am-4pm.
This event is gave Board Luv the opportunity to create a one of a kind theme board. Raffled off at the event was a custom painted long board skate deck. The board was a traditional long board deck hand built by Chris Davidson at Harmony Boards Co. out of Bradley Beach, NJ. In addition to raffling off the deck Board Luv
The event was a huge success and may lead to more surf and skate boards painted for Life Rolls On as well as other charities in the future.
Come out and support the volunteers and participants or even volunteer yourself for the next They Will Surf Again event September 27 in Cape May, NJ. They are always in need of volunteers with good water experience. link is below

Board Luv is venturing into clothing and accessories. Hoodies, tshirts, bandannas, and MORE! Right now I am resorting to using iron on's and using them very very creatively...almost appearing that the graphics are screen printed. In the future Board Luv wants to turn GREEN. No not with jealousy or green like the HULK; environmentally friendly kind of green. If all the clothing that has ben produced so far,is bought, Board Luv will be switching the green switch and using 100% organic cotton shirts or bamboo, 100% all natural non toxic inks and pigments, and buying close to home (because of fuel and pollution due to transport). Prices will go up slightly but will still be very reasonable; the designs will be even better though. SO...If you feel strongly that all Board Luv clothing should switch to being green then tell me; I'd love to hear feedback.

Board Luv is teaming up with Harmony Board Co. which designs and fabricates very simple yet beautiful long board skate boards from maple and oak plywood, lexan (yes a clear skateboard), carbon fiber, and other modern materials. Custom long boards are available to order and will have custom bottom graphics on them as well as possible grip tape top graphics. You have a choice of clear epoxy non skid coating on the top of the board or regular black (asphalt) grip tape. Boards do not come with trucks but come at an additional fee. Check back for further details and prices. Designs will be progressing that will make your mind pop from your noggin.

Casino Long board
The Asbury Casino used to be a happening place back in the day and still stands. Board Luv knows the importance of being a local and showing local pride so a board with the flavor of Asbury Park will be in the making. Tillie, Casino architectural elements, and even some playing cards, post cards, and poker chips are styled into the board. In addition the old Casino was used for a short time as a skate park...so it goes hand in hand with the skating theme.
